Our Story
Sofi Tucker started selling Shea Nuts at the village mark in Bonthe, Sierra Leone in 1912. By age 19, the widowed mother of four was selling Shea Butter, African Black Soap and homemade hair and skin preparations all over the countryside. Sofi Tucker was our Grandmother and Shea Moisture is her legacy. Through the Community Commerce you help empower disadvantaged women to realize a brighter, healthier future.
African Black Soap
Helps to clarify oily, blemish-prone skin.
Tamarind Extract
A natural astringent known to help exfoliate the skin.
Tea Tree Oil
Gently purifying essential oil helps to soothe and mattify skin.
Tested on our family for four generations. Never on animals.

Apply to damp skin. Gently massage into face and neck using circular motions. Rinse thoroughly. Use once or twice weekly as required. Follow with African Black Soap Toner.
